Biking the David Thompson Highway

Before the leafs turn brown and drop off the branches, a mild day in early October will tempt you to go out and look for remnants of fall colours.They are most impressive when seen against a backdrop of snow capped mountain peaks.

There is no better way to explore the highway than taking a bike - chances are you will be stopping every 200 meters or so to take more photographs.

The traffic at this time of year has been reduced to a trickle and you can enjoy this wonderful road all to yourself, surrounded by our pristine wilderness.
