General Information for Guests in self-contained units

• guests who wish to have their own kitchen and do not require meals in the lodge, can choose from three self-contained units:
  • The two bedroom apartment (1 available)
  • Cottage units 1 or 2 (2 available)
    
    
• these units are separate products from the lodge without access to thefacilities of the lodge (e.g. common areas or meals) and no maid service.
  
  
• each unit has a fully equipped kitchen with gas range / oven, microwave, fridge / freezer, a bathroom with shower, central heating and airtight woodstove, sitting, dining and sleeping areas.
  
  
• we recommend the self-contained units to families with younger children so that guests in the lodge are not disturbed.
  
  
• pets are allowed in the self-contained units on the condition that they are supervised and do not disturb other guests or damage / soil the units.
  
  
• picnic tables and a wood BBQ are available in the yard but use of the fire pit may be restricted during periods of extremely dry weather in summer (firebans).
  
  
• there are minimal grocery and other shopping opportunities available in the area so we recommend our guests bring all groceries along.
  
  
• self-contained units have to be returned in pre-cleaned condition (floors swiped, oven / kitchen and kitchenware cleaned) or an extra charge of C$50 will apply.
