Vision Quest Ridge

Probably the most popular outing with our clients, the foot of Vision Quest ridge is only one km from Aurum Lodge.

The scramble up the ridge takes between 2 and 2.5 hours and provides some of the most spectacular views of the valley, the lake, and our mountain peaks.

Far below you, the David Thompson Highway snakes along the lake shore. The stunning turquoise waters of Abraham Lake make you forget the physical effort invested in getting here.

The scramble is steep, the rock scree is loose (which makes for two steps forward and one back) and you will want to pack enough water to make up for the dehydrating effect of the wind.

However, nobody returns disappointed from this scramble.
